Petrol engines for the E-Class Estate include theE 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY – which uses direct injection technology to optimise every drop of fuel. As a result, the automatic E 250 CGI does 8.0 l/100km combined with CO2 emissions of just 185 g/km.

Other options include the E 350 BlueEFFICIENCY, an impressive V6 unit that produces up to 200 kW and accelerates from 0-100 kmh in 7.5 seconds. Taking things up a notch, there’s the formidable E 500 V8 and the even more powerful E 63 AMG, which goes from 0-100 kmh in an eye-watering 4.6 seconds.
