TV tuner [supports digital TV not available in NZ]

You can add to your entertainment options with the TV tuner [supports digital TV not available in NZ] , optional for the
GL-Class. It works with the COMAND system to provide you with terrestrial TV stations on both analogue and digital frequencies. Signals are received via an aerial integrated in the rear windscreen.

TV channels can be viewed on the COMAND head-unit when the vehicle is stationary or at speeds of 8 km/h or less, and sound is relayed through the vehicle’s audio equipment. When rear seat entertainment is equipped, TV channels can be watched on the rear screens at all speeds independently of the COMAND system.
